Hey, you forgot Shari's name on the chapter intro, or is he not coming with us? He's coming- I'd was coming into town on the bus, writing it up and glancing back for info on the ship's crew and nagaro river when I forgot his name... then the wifi connection started cutting out.

I've advanced us two days- that'll allow for resupplying, etc. The turn will begin on the river and at the first encounter.

We'd moved 30 miles outside of the city a coupla years ago... So, I'm turning green! That is, as long as my company pays my bus fare. ;D I still have my '57 chevy, but its parked.

The rowboat is designed to hold 6 persons. Four rowers, two to work the kedge anchor. On a short jaunt like this, two rowers can manage the craft.
What's your plan?

I say Ya.qub goes alone, we can cover him from the shore with missle fire if need be. j/k! lol Ya'qub, Shari, Mamoun and Waleed plus two rowers should go ashore. I'll have my women on the boat with crossbows ready, but not aimed at anyone, just in case.

Howdy- I'm back... been in a bit of a downer mood/stressed for a while. I was a little too focused on politics, local and national. Me and the missus were busy supporting the pro-marriage bill here in AZ. Plus there was some pressure for me to re-enlist and return of OCS. Now that the election is over, and marriage defended, stress levels are down to normal family and work issues.

did you get my rolls for the wind attack I'm making, Mike? Yeah... I haven't got to it yet. I'm still mulling over the details of the Chimera, risus style. How would you represent it? D20 has it as a 9d10 +27 HD creature.

Well, you're going to have to use funky dice, so d10 rolls instead of d6 might be in order. Looks like we'll be teaming up here... which reminds me to roll for Mamoun and the girls for missile weapons. Doing that now... did you get my rolls for the wind attack I'm making, Mike? Yeah... Also, if we can team up with Kadufi, the other ones and Shari (is he doing anything?) that would be nice. Well, you're going to have to use funky dice, so d10 rolls instead of d6 might be in order. We managed to kill the beast fairly easily with a combination my ingenuity and your good looks (look here beast, a fine specimen to feast upon in my friend Ya'qub! Not in the least gamey tasting! ) We're just waiting on Mike to write up the aftermath... <waking up from a Tryptophan coma...> Huh?? Wha-?? I let loose with a fireball at the bad guys' head! Its been one of those weeks. I've been trying to get to the turns... Besides the regular challenges, I have a new one. My 2 year old is learning his letters so whenever I sit at the computer he climbs on my lap and shows me all the letters he knows. too bad I can't just dictate to him!

Thanks!

Is it really your Birthday Mike? If so, Happy Birthday! Thanks for the birthday greetings- but its a habit of mine to list Jan 1 as my birthday on sites like this. My bday is in may. Whew! Happy New Year! Crazy time of year. Looking forward to being back to the routine of commute and work. That's when I get the most time to post turns.
